In Ghana’s Volta Region, a 19-year-old upcoming Nigerian musician known only as Destiny was brutally murdered.
Reporters discovered that on May 28, the incident took place.
According to information obtained, an unnamed Nigerian living in Ghana accused him of not sending money for a business project they had introduced him to.
In order to ask him about the money, the male adult, who was also alleged to have been one of those who helped him travel to the country, raided his flat with two other people.
However, he suffered a serious assault as a result of Destiny’s refusal to answer questions.
The Edo State-born artist later passed away from the wounds he received from the attack, a person familiar with the matter informed reporters yesterday on condition of anonymity because he did not have the right to speak to the media.
Destiny’s journey to Ghana to continue his studies was made possible by a man he referred to as his “street brother.” He was given an apartment over there by these same folks. According to those who told us the news from there, the individuals introduced him to a company, and they later charged him with embezzling money intended for the company. They were enraged by this and went to beat him up at his apartment. According to the account, the beating was so severe that he became weak and surrendered the spirit.
It was also revealed that when the suspects realized the deceased was not moving, they left his body in the room.
The corpse was later found by the police a few days after the incident, according to another individual who talked to reporters.
Following notification of the occurrence, a few police officers were sent to the flat where Destiny’s remains were discovered. We were informed that since his passing, no suspects had been taken into custody. We hope his killers are apprehended and prosecuted by Ghanaian authorities.
Destiny was heard talking about himself and his aspirations in a video that went viral online.
