The South-West zonal caucus meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is set for Friday, July 11, 2025, in the South-West Zonal Secretariat in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Kamorudeen Ajisafe, the National Vice Chairman, South-West, made this announcement on Tuesday.
The announcement states that the National Vice Chairman of the South-West Zone, who will serve as the Chairman, and additional members of the Zonal Working Committee are invited to the South-West Zonal Caucus meeting.
Other members of the Party include current and previous South-West Zone presidents and vice presidents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Those invited to the meeting were also identified in the statement as current and former South-West Zone governors and deputy governors who are still Party members.
Serving and past National Assembly members from the South-West Zone who are still Party members will also be present at the conference.
There are also current and former South-West Zone members of the National Executive Committee who are still Party members.
“The Chairmen, Deputy Chairmen, and Secretaries of the Party in the states in the South-West Zone.
“Serving and former Speakers and Deputy Speakers of Houses of Assembly in the Zone, who are still members of the Party.
“Former Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party.
“Former Secretaries to the Government of the Federation from the South-West Zone who are still members of the Party.
Former Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from the South-West Zone who are still Party members, as well as former Ambassadors from the South-West Zone who are still Party members.
“Lastly, three (3) physically challenged persons who were admitted to the Caucus by the Caucus, as well as former chairmen of Federal Boards and Parastatals from the South-West Zone who are still in the Party, are equally invited to the meeting,” the statement stated.
