2027: Tinubu’s chances would be impacted by Jonathan’s return, according to Sani

According to Umar Sani, a Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, President Bola Tinubu’s chances of winning a second term would be impacted by the return of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

In an interview with Arise Television’s “The Morning Show” on Friday, Sani claimed that Tinubu is currently setting up the South-South for himself.

“Edo, Akwa Ibom, and Rivers are states that Tinubu is preparing for himself. His efforts will be overshadowed by Jonathan’s arrival because the South-South will strongly support him. They just cannot give up their own son for anything else.

They will come out en masse because this is their son. So they cannot sacrifice their own son for any other consideration.

“So, it will affect Tinubu more than it will affect any other candidate that is coming from the North, which is the battleground for Jonathan,” he said.
