According to the Kano State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service, 58 prisoners are presently enrolled in the 2025 National Examination Council Senior School Certificate Examination.
In a statement released on Sunday, Musbahu Kofar-Nasarawa, the command’s public relations officer, disclosed that the Kano state government had covered the prisoners’ registration costs in order to aid in their efforts at reform and reintegration.
The statement further stated that the NCoS Kano State Command is still dedicated to creating an atmosphere that is favorable for prisoners’ reformation and rehabilitation.
