On Tuesday, TAJBank, which is Nigeria’s foremost non-interest lender, finalized the completion agreement for the second tranche of its N100 billion Mudarabah Sukuk bond program, worth N20 billion.
The new investment initiative, occurring roughly two years after the introduction of Nigeria’s inaugural N10 billion Sukuk bond on the Exchange in 2023, offers individuals and corporate investors another chance to invest in a principled financial instrument with a competitive annual return of 20.5%.
TAJBank’s new Mudarabah Sukuk bond, which has received all required regulatory approvals, aims to provide investors with a stable and ethical means of participating in the bank’s profit-sharing activities. This initiative emphasizes TAJBank’s dedication to broadening access to innovative financial solutions and advancing financial inclusion nationwide.
