Lazio winger, Pedro, has snubbed the likes of Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembele while naming Pedri as his favourite player to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
The former Chelsea star insisted that he would give the Barcelona midfielder the maximum score to win this year’s Ballon d’Or ahead of others.
Pedri had a remarkable 2024/25 season with Barcelona and has emerged one of the top contenders for the top individual prize
The Spain international will vie for the Ballon d’Or alongside players such as Dembele, Yamal, Raphinha, Mohamed Salah, and others.
When discussing the player deserving of this year’s Ballon d’Or, Pedro said to El Día de Tenerife (via Barca Blaugranes): “Of course I’d give Pedri the maximum score.
„Dann Lamine Yamal. Other potential candidates include Dembélé or Raphinha, but I would be thrilled if Pedri won.
“There’s no question in my mind: he’s the best player in his position globally.”
