The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has announced that Cocoa, Urea Fertilizer, and Sesame seeds are among Nigeria’s top 246 export products to various regions of the country.
During a roundtable meeting in Abuja on the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), titled “Strengthening Trade Facilitation and Digital Transformation in Nigeria through UN/CEFACT Standards,” Nonye Ayeni, Executive Director/CEO of NEPC, made the disclosure.
She stated, “Nigeria achieved an impressive export outcome in 2024, with total receipts of $5.456 billion representing a 20.77% increase from the 2023 figure of $4.517 billion, thanks to the “Go Global, Go for Certification” campaign aimed at improving the quality of Made-in-Nigeria products and enhancing competitiveness in global trade.
