The club’s attempt to sign Victor Osimhen permanently is delaying Alvaro Morata’s departure from Galatasaray.
Como and Morata have essentially reached an agreement for Morata to quit the Turkish champions.
However, until the Istanbul team can get a striker, the Spaniard will not be permitted to depart. Before letting the Spaniard leave, Galatasaray is waiting to complete the signing of Osimhen from Napoli.
Fabrizio Romano, a football transfer analyst, verified this on Tuesday evening.
“As soon as Victor Osimhen rejoins Galatasaray, Álvaro Morata will be the new Comoplayer from AC Milan,” Romano tweeted.
“A new striker must join before Gala can terminate Morata’s loan agreement and send him back to Italy.
And Osimhen is now just one step away from making a comeback to Gala.
