On Wednesday, Senator Gabriel Suswam formally told PDP elders that the party had decided to use the ADC as a platform in order to unseat the nation’s ruling APC.
The National Coalition Movement’s Benue State Steering Committee Chairman, Terngu Tsegba, hosted the meeting at his home in Makurdi.
Elders drawn from the 23 local government areas of the state attended the meeting in preparatory to the official unveiling of the African Democratic Congress, ADC to Benue people.
Senator Suswam said the same way the PDP was given to the local people, ADC will also be given to the people for ownership.
The former governor filed a lawsuit to exercise prudence and permit people to express themselves without becoming overpowering.
Ahead of 2027, he suggested that the PDP’s winning mentality be fostered and capitalized upon, emphasizing that joining the ADC is a decision made voluntarily and not under duress.
