KACCIMA (Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture) has finally elected new executive committee members on Sunday after nearly five years of leadership crisis.
During the chamber’s Annual General Meeting, Amb. Usman Hassan Darma emerged as the President following the election.
In addition, the meeting resulted in the election of Abdulaziz Sabitu Mohammad as First Deputy President, Umar Ismail Haruna as Second Deputy President, Kabir Mohammed Adamu as Vice President Industry, Sameera Abubakar Abdullahi as Vice President Publicity, and Binta Muhammad Jibrin as the new Vice President Corporate.The other elected executive committee members include Aliyu Mustapha Mohammed (Vice President Property), Nura Habibu (Vice President Commerce), Umar Ladiyo Ibrahim (Treasurer), Yusuf Aliyu Umar (Vice President Agriculture), and Aisha Sulaiman Baffa (Deputy Treasurer).
