Next season, Florian Wirtz will replace Luis Diaz as the number seven shirt wearer for Liverpool.
This week, Diaz’s status as a new member of Bayern Munich was already announced.
Wirtz joined the Premier League champions in a £116million move from Bayer Leverkusen.
Over the years, a number of Liverpool greats, including Steve McManaman, Kenny Dalglish, and Luis Suarez, have worn the No. 7 shirt.
Jeremie Frimpong is wearing the No. 30 shirt, and Milos Kerkez is wearing the No. 6.
Giorgi Mamardashvili, Freddie Woodman, and Armin Pecsi, the new goalkeepers, will wear jersey numbers 25, 28, and 41, respectively, while Hugo Ekitike will wear number 22.
Trey Nyoni (42) and Conor Bradley (12) have also chosen new numbers.
Before starting their season defense against Crystal Palace in the Community Shield on Sunday, Liverpool will play two friendly against Athletic Club.
