Ojo Olorunleke, the goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, is almost certain to sign with Shooting Stars of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Since departing Sudanese team Al-Merriekh earlier this year, Olorunleke has not been a member of any clubs.
The 29-year-old is now hoping to pitch tent with the Oluyole Warriors in an attempt to revitalize his career.
The shot stopper is a popular figure in the Nigerian top-flight having featured for top clubs like Kano Pillars, Akwa United, Sunshine Stars, Abia Warriors, and Enyimba in the past.
Olorunleke won the NPFL title with Enyimba in the 2022/23 season.
He was part of the Super Eagles squad to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
