The National Orientation Agency (NOA) issued a warning regarding the operations of criminal syndicates involved in creating and disseminating the counterfeit cash as a result of the development, which has impacted many enterprises.
Traders described their struggles when Daily Trust visited Mandate Market in Ilorin on Thursday, urging authorities to act immediately.Point of Sale (POS) operator Olarewaju Kunle claimed that at the end of the day, when he was reconciling his sales, he found the phony notes.
