“I recognize I haven’t given him the opportunities he merits in the past few matches, especially considering his contributions in games against Tottenham and Brighton,” Guardiola stated regarding Doku.
Although he has had a big impact on the club, the recent formation changes were more about using full-backs and adding extra men in midfield to play a different style, like we did against Bournemouth.
It’s crucial to stress that I made this choice. I truly feel bad that I can’t give him more playing time, and I feel the same way about other guys.
