Alhaji Muhammad Bello Adamu, a well-known PDP member in Pantami Ward, Gombe State, has formally left the party to become a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Adamu clarified in a statement that was quoted by BASEMEDIA that his choice was motivated by his desire to make a significant contribution to the nation’s democratic process as well as by personal conviction.
I have made the decision to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in order to pursue a different political path. Personal conviction and my wish to continue making a significant contribution to our democratic ideas on a new platform are the foundations of this decision,” he stated.
Adamu, who goes by Cikasoro, thanked the PDP for the opportunities and experiences he had while he was a member.
“I want to convey my gratitude for the experiences and opportunities I have had during my time as a member, and this decision was not made lightly,” he continued.
