On the day before the transfer deadline, Chelsea announced agreements for Marc Guiu and Jimmy-Jay Morgan, two more players.
The Blues declared on their website that Guiu had been called back from his loan stint at Sunderland.
During his tenure with Sunderland, the 19-year-old star made three appearances and scored against Huddersfield Town in the League Cup.
Morgan, who joined Chelsea from Southampton in January 2023, was a regular player for the team’s Under-21s before joining Gillingham on loan for the remainder of the season in January. Morgan also completed a loan transfer to League One club, Peterborough United, for the remainder of the season. Guiu joined Chelsea last summer from Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona, and the striker scored six goals in sixteen appearances across all competitions for the team. This comes just hours after Chelsea confirmed transfer agreements for two players, Alex Matos and Facundo Buonanotte.
