All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Joe Igbokwe has praised the Finnish court’s decision to imprison self-described Biafra agitator Simon Ekp.
According to BASEMEDIA, a Finnish District Court sentenced Ekpa to six years in prison on Monday for crimes related to terrorism.
Reactions to the development have been mixed, with some stakeholders applauding the ruling and accusing Ekpa of being behind the ongoing unrest in the South East.
Igbokwe responded to the court ruling on his official Facebook page on Monday.
The “most interesting part of the judgment is Simon Ekpa will be deported after serving six years in a Finnish prison to face terrorism charges in Nigeria,” the APC chieftain claimed in his post.
Igbokwe emphasized that the “findings and those involved will shock the world,” vowing that the “pain of what we lost in the South East in 10 years will go round.”
