Tinubu supports state police and orders a security review in Katsina.

An immediate review of Katsina State’s security operations has been mandated by President Bola Tinubu.

The president also promised to strengthen the fight against banditry by deploying cutting-edge military equipment and surveillance devices, according to a statement released Tuesday by his Senior Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Assuring Nigerians that his administration was thinking about establishing state police and upgrading forest guards to strengthen grassroots security, Tinubu went on to say that the nation’s security issues could be resolved.

The president also underlined the necessity of security forces that are familiar with the local terrain and culture, and he added that daily updates on state security operations must now be given.

“We can overcome the security obstacles we are currently facing. All security agencies have been instructed by me today to further energize and examine the strategies. The President declared, “The additional purchase of drones has been authorized.

He added that his administration was examining every facet of security and would take a comprehensive approach to the creation of state police.
