As Arsenal, PSG, Barcelona, and Inter Milan get ready for the semi-finals later this month, former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves has made predictions about the Champions League finalists.
In the semi-finals of the Champions League, Arsenal will play Paris Saint-Germain.
Conversely, Barcelona will play Inter Milan, one of the biggest teams in Serie A.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s YouTube channel, Hargreaves predicted that Barcelona will defeat Inter and PSG would defeat Arsenal.
He claims that on May 31 at the Allianz Arena, PSG and Barcelona will square off in the Champions League final.
“If you look at it historically, it does take clubs steps [to win the Champions League], but Arsenal looks ready this year,” the Englishman stated.
Because they have the finest defense, Arsenal can win with less possessions and counterattacking tactics. However, I believe PSG vs. Barcelona will be the final.
“That other game is a real clash of two styles,” he continued. Barca has a lot of the ball and that high line, while Inter Milan is cool without it.
