Majin Mohammed, the head coach of the Niger Tornadoes, has lauded his team’s victory over Bayelsa United, which they achieved 1-0 at Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna on Sunday.
Mohammed attributed their motivation throughout the fight to the size of the crowd.
The Tornadoes’ players displayed discipline and tenacity throughout the game, and their well-coordinated defensive effort helped them win.
Ismaila Sarki scored the game’s lone goal.
After the game, Mohammed said, “I want to thank everyone for the huge turnout and the support we got here tonight, I think that is the motivating factors that ginger the boys.”
With six points, the Niger Tornadoes rose to sixth place in the NPFL standings.
