Three managers, including former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, will take over as Nottingham Forest’s next coach.
Alex Crook, a transfer insider for talkSPORT, revealed this in a post on X.
Santos was fired as Nottingham Forest’s first team manager late last night.
Less than two weeks after losing to West Ham United 3-0 at home, the Premier League made the decision.
However, Crook claims that the three coaches on Nottingham’s list to succeed Santos are Mourinho, who was recently fired as manager of Fernabahce, Ange Postecoglou, the former manager of Tottenham Hotspur, and Marco Silva, the manager of Fulham.
On X, someone said, “Ange Postecoglou is one of the early front-runners to replace Nuno at #NFFC.”
The management there also appreciated Marco Silva, and Jose Mourinho was another choice. However, I recognize that Edu and Marinakis want a more forward-thinking style of play, which was one of Nuno’s problems.
