In response to Sokoto South Senator Aminu Tambuwal’s recent interview in which he disparaged him and Present Bola Tinubu, Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, or FCT, has responded.
“I will respond in due course,” Wike said, vowing never to let Tambuwal’s tirade against him and Tinubu go unanswered.
To lead Nigeria in 2027, Tambuwal had stated in an interview on Friday that he would select former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over Tinubu.
The former governor of Sokoto State added that he would select Atiku to be Nigeria’s leader over Wike.
On the other hand, Wike promised to teach Nigerians the definition of integrity and betrayal.
Lere Olayinka, the Minister’s media assistant, made the statement that included the Minister’s comment. According to the statement: “I have received a ton of calls asking for the Minister’s response, particularly from journalists.
“In addition to his criticism of the Minister, Tambuwal also made disparaging remarks about President Tinubu, and these will not be ignored.
I can therefore state that the Minister will react appropriately. He will undoubtedly explain to Nigerians what integrity means and what constitutes betrayal.
