The Osun State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), led by Leye Adegboyega, has urged motorists in the state to obey the law and be responsible road users. He stressed that road safety is a shared duty and reaffirmed the FRSC’s commitment to its statutory roles in Osun, aiming to create a safer driving environment and reduce road crashes.
Adegboyega spoke at a decoration ceremony in Osogbo, celebrating the beneficiaries of the 2025 FRSC staff promotion exercise. He announced that the command achieved a 100% pass rate for those who took part, with all participants earning promotions. A second decoration ceremony for the Marshals is planned for Thursday, September 18, 2025, to recognize their success in the promotion exams.
He attributed the success to the FRSC Management’s generosity and dedication to staff welfare, under Corps Marshal Sheu Mohammed, mni. The promoted officers were urged to respond with hard work, dedication, and a renewed commitment to duty, noting that promotions acknowledge hard work and should motivate further progress toward the Corps’ goals.
Adegboyega also thanked the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for his unwavering support and ongoing commitment to road safety.
