Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will be out for several weeks owing to an injury, according to Serie A team Lazio.
The Biancocelesti said that during their league match against AS Roma on Sunday, Dele-Bashiru suffered a lesion to the femoral bicep in his right leg.
Early in the game, the 24-year-old was forced off.
Additionally, Lazio disclosed that the Nigerian international has begun his recuperation.
This season, Dele-Bashiru has played in four league games for the Rome-based team.
He is not expected to play in Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against the Benin Republic and Lesotho next month.
