The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of lacking the spirit of democratic sportsmanship.
PDP National Chairman, Umar Damagun, made the claim on Thursday during a meeting with the European Union Election Observation Follow-up Mission in Abuja.
Damagun pointed to recent elections, saying they were plagued by irregularities.
“Sadly, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed to exhibit true democratic sportsmanship,” he said.
He added, “As observed, recent elections have been riddled with widespread irregularities—ranging from misuse of state resources and security agencies to voter suppression, intimidation, vote-buying, and the intentional sabotage of electoral processes.”
