The Gunners are negotiating with the representatives of Thomas Partey, a midfielder, as they aim to provide him with a new contract.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed this in a post on X on Wednesday.
Romano also revealed that Partey’s teammate Jorginho is expected to leave the Premier League North London club this summer.
Arsenal are in discussions with Thomas Partey’s camp over new deal as Mikel Arteta is keen on keeping him,” Romano said.
“No agreement yet but talks ongoing as @TheAthleticFC reports, Thomas also has more options available.
“Jorginho, expected to leave. Thomas could stay,” he said.
Both Partey and Jorginho’s contracts with Arsenal will expire at the end of the season.
Partey joined Mikel Arteta’s side from Atlético Madrid, while Jorginho arrived at Arsenal from Chelsea.
