The immediate past Zonal Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue South Senatorial District, Chief Godwin Owulo, has resigned from the party, citing personal reasons. In a letter dated October 15, 2025, addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ukpa-Aniu-Ette Council Ward, Oju Local Government Area, Owulo formally declared the end of his membership. Following his departure from the party, where he was a prominent figure and instrumental in grassroots mobilization, Chief Owulo confirmed his decision to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
