Despite the loss to Rivers United, Mbwas Mangut, the technical adviser for Nasarawa United, has praised his team. In a matchday 11 match on Sunday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt, the Solid Miners lost 1-0 to their hosts. It was the second straight loss for Nasarawa United. After the defeat, the Lafia club fell to second place in the standings. Mangut praised his players for their efforts rather than placing the blame on them.
