The managing director of Skyway Aviation Handling Company PLC (SAHCO), Mrs. Adenike Aboderin, stated that the tax incentive or waiver will preserve the aviation industry. The aircraft ground handling sector has reiterated appeals for government support and tax waivers. Despite the challenging economic conditions facing the sector, the leading ground handling company also reported an astounding 57% increase in sales.During a Gateway Forum in Lagos, the Managing Director told aviation correspondents that despite rising inflation, rising foreign exchange rates, high utility costs, and rising prices for imported equipment and spare parts, the company has managed to deliver strong financial and operational results. These reasons continue to put pressure on operators throughout the aviation value chain, she noted.
