The final autopsy of Gene Hackman revealed

The official autopsy results for Gene Hackman, the Oscar Award-winning actor, have been released.

Two months after Hackman and his wife died in their home, it outlined Hackman’s medical history.

The Office of the Medical Investigator in New Mexico published the results

Even though there were no suspicions of foul play following the discovery of their bodies, a search warrant affidavit classified their deaths as “suspicious enough in nature to require a thorough search and investigation.”

The 95-year-old individual had a documented “history of congestive heart failure” and “severe chronic hypertensive changes, kidneys.”

It further revealed that Hackman had been using a “bi-ventricular pacemaker” since April 2019 and exhibited “neurodegenerative features consistent with Alzheimer’s Disease.”

The documents indicated that “Remote myocardial infarctions were present involving the left ventricular free wall and the septum, which were significantly large.

“The examination of the brain revealed microscopic evidence of advanced-stage Alzheimer’s disease.”

Nevertheless, Hackman’s test results for Hantavirus were negative. Betsy Arakawa, his wife, was deemed to have been killed by the rat-borne disease.
