According to PUNCH Sports Extra, Bayer Leverkusen is open to considering offers between from €30 million to €35 million for Nigerian-eligible midfielder Francis Onyeka, as interest from German clubs and the Premier League grows.
The 19-year-old playmaker, who made an impression while on loan at VfL Bochum this season, is being handled carefully and strategically by Leverkusen, according to German publication fussballdaten.de.
According to the article, Onyeka’s contract was extended by Leverkusen until 2028 before he moved to Bochum, but the club may still approve a transfer if a sizable offer comes in.

After being moved out on loan to obtain first-team experience, Onyeka had a breakthrough 2025–2026 season at Bochum. He had previously represented Germany during the 2024 UEFA European U-17 Championship qualification campaign.
RB Leipzig and Schalke 04 are two of the teams closely associated with the teenager.
Leipzig is apparently contemplating a bid worth about €25 million including bonuses, viewing Onyeka as a long-term development project akin to Xavi Simons.
