Abia Warriors technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo has urged his players to focus on securing a top three finish this season.
The Umuahia-based club moved to third position on the NPFL table following a 3-1 over Shooting Stars in Umuahia on Sunday.
Amakapabo expressed optimism that his team will get the points needed in the remaining games of the season.
Amapakabo told Abia Warriors media, “At the start of the season, we aimed to compete for every point, which led us to our current position.”
“With three games left in the campaign, we will continue to work hard and maintain our belief that we will achieve the results.
“Our expectations are in sight; we hope to keep our heads on our shoulders until we reach our destination.”
He also mentioned that his team will focus closely on their final three league matches.
“I believe that if we achieve the desired outcome in our next two matches, we will be set for the last game, which will only be a formality.”
