Comparing me to Portable is disrespectful, Terry G.

Terry G, whose real name is Gabriel Oche Amanyi, is a well-known singer who has warned against being compared to controversial musician Portable.

Because of his contentious demeanor and street-hop musical style, Portable has sometimes been compared to the “Akpako Master.”

Terry G responded via X on Monday, calling the comparison rude and asserting that he has been reliable for more than a decade.

“It is disrespectful to compare me to Portable because I have music that people still listen to ten years later,” he wrote.
