UEL final: Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou explains why we defeated Man Utd 1-0

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has indicated that having “one focus and one target” was instrumental in his team’s victory over Manchester United to win this year’s Europa League.

Spurs triumphed over Man United 1-0 in the Europa League final on Wednesday night in Bilbao, a match that Postecoglou observed.

Brennan Johnson netted the ball in the match’s first half.

After the match, Postecoglou emphasized that the word “believe” contributed to Spurs’ victory over the Red Devils in securing a trophy this season.

“To be honest, I can’t express it in words. “I know I’m at an amazing football club with amazing supporters,” Postecoglou said after the game, as quoted by NBC Sports.

“Everyone knows this year has been difficult, but I’ve kept these things inside me during the latter half of the year — a single focus, a single target. I simply had the feeling that this was it.

“Achieving this today… I understand its significance for the club; it has long been labeled a nearly team. He stated, “The only way to break that is by winning things, and we accomplished that today.”

The 59-year-old added, “I knew I had a massive challenge in front of me, added stress of the injury situation. I have just had this laser focus on, ‘I believe we can win something this year.’
