The 2025 NLO season begins in Abuja.

The 2025 Nationwide League One, or NLO, season will start hostilities on Wednesday, which is today.

The season’s first matchup between Hyperbuzz FC and Likeminds FC will take place at Abuja’s Bwari Stadium.

NLO TV will broadcast live coverage of the game, which is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

Other games from matchday one include BIB FC vs. TAHIR Babes FC, Super Tigers FC vs. Bakori FC, FC Gwammaja vs. Tudun Wada FC, and Katsina Jnr FC vs. Jnr Danburam FC.

The Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano will host all of the games.

Aba FC will play City Stars FC, Jaguar FC will play Bright Stars, Buberio FC will play Ahudiyannem FC, Enyimba Feeders will play Right 2 Win FC, and Inter FC Aba will play FC Onapal at the OISA Centre.

At the Legacy Pitch in Lagos, Synergy FC will play Tradesafe FC, Magic Stars FC will play Dosu Joseph FC, Emmydinho will face Divine Praise FC, Victory FC will play Smart City Feeders, and North York FC will play Collins Edwin FC.

Awka City Stadium in Anambra, Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi, Pantami Stadium in Gombe, August 27 Stadium in Yobe, Gumel Stadium in Jigawa, Lafia City Stadium, and Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu will host additional match centers.

The start of further group matches is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

At the end of the season, the victor of each group will compete in the promotion playoff.

This season, the league will have more than 160 clubs.
