Suspected armed bandits killed at least two people during an attack on a farm in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on December 21. According to security sources, the incident took place at Tse Keleke farm near Dudu village, where the assailants abducted two men. One of the victims, identified as Ortwer Sylvanus from Agu village, was killed with a machete during the initial assault, and his body was later recovered by police. The second victim, who was initially missing, was discovered the following day with severe injuries; he passed away while being transported to the hospital. Law enforcement and tactical units have since increased their presence in the area and are currently scouring the nearby bushes to locate and arrest the perpetrators.
