All Talentz, an outsourcing company, has invested N13 million in three tech startups to accelerate technological development in Africa.
The financing was made available to the three IT entrepreneurs and distributed based on the cash awards for their respective placements in the recently finished first Hackathon.
Ten teams presented their company concepts and offered their services during the Hackathon.Three were declared the winners following their presentations, taking first, second, and third place, respectively, with N10 million, N2 million, and a million.Teams Imago (Nigeria), Waste to Wages (Nigeria), and UniCBT (Kigali) emerged victorious.
Rick Swart, the US Consul General in Lagos, praised the participants and said that African talents are pushing the envelope to solve global issues.
