According to the Presidency, Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, is leading a group of political desperate individuals who are planning to overthrow President Bola Tinubu.
Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, was responding to El-Rufai’s assertion that four years is insufficient for any “significant changes.”
El-Rufai made the statement while warning former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi and Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, to refrain from committing to one term in office.
Nonetheless, Onanuga claimed that in his two years in office, Tinubu has put more policies into effect than the governors El-Rufai, Obi, and Amaechi combined.
“Nasir El-Rufai admits here that four years is not enough for a political office holder to make’meaningful changes,'” Onanuga wrote in a post on X.
However, only two years into his term, he is leading a group of desperate politicians who are planning to overthrow President Tinubu. How contradictory!
