On Monday morning, there was a fatal car accident on the Mile 2-Badagry Expressway that left one person dead and multiple others injured.
The accident happened early in the morning at Volkswagen, inward Mile 2, Lagos, and involved a collision between a painted T4 commercial bus (KJA 328 XH) and a Toyota Highlander Jeep (APP 150 EY).Preliminary investigations showed that the tragedy occurred when the driver of the Highlander Jeep, traveling at a high speed, lost control and collided with a commercial bus parked by the side of the road, according to Mr. Olalekan Bakare-Oki, General Manager of LASTMA, who confirmed the incident.Bakare-Oki clarified that the bus driver was picking up passengers at the specified spot at the moment of the collision.
