The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, says that the party has successfully completed its documentations with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Abdullahi, who made the affirmation on Monday, stated that the party has completed all aspects of the documentation with the electoral umpire.
“We have successfully completed our documents with INEC. In fact, we were able to complete the outstanding documentation as of Thursday last week,” he stated.
The submission of the names of the party’s principal officers, along with the signatures of the National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, and the National Chairman, David Mark, was reportedly among the unresolved issues.
Solomon Dalung, a former sports minister, has also stated that the ADC is ready for the general elections in 2027.
He allayed concerns that procedural problems might impact the party’s preparedness for the polls while appearing as a guest on Arise TV’s Morning Show on Monday.
