It has been confirmed that Women in Mining Africa (WiM-Africa) will be an official Supporting Association Partner for the Resourcing Tomorrow / Mines and Money London 2025 conference, which will take place in London, UK, from December 2–4.
In a statement, WiM-Africa’s executive director, Dr. Comfort Asokoro-Ogaji, said the strategic relationship is a significant step forward in the organization’s goal to advance gender equity throughout the mineral value chain and elevate the voices of African women in the global mining discourse.
According to her, as part of the collaboration, WiM-Africa has obtained free full-access passes for female executives from big and mid-tier mining firms with a market value of at least $500 million USD, in addition to free passes for WiM-Africa staff members and active volunteers.
