Bayo Onanuga, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, ought to be fired, according to rights activist Aisha Yesufu.
Yesufu was responding to Onanuga’s derision of important coalition members, including Rotimi Amaechi, Peter Obi, and Atiku Abubakar, after the All Progressives Congress won the Saturday bye-elections.
Onanuga wrote, “How is the market now?” on X, mocking the coalition leaders for the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) failure.
“As the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and my Special Adviser Information & Strategy, I, Aisha Yesufu, put out a message like this!” Yesufu wrote in response.
“He or she will be let go right away!
Anything goes because Nigeria doesn’t have a president yet! Nigeria is a poor country.
