ATHLETIC Manchester United lacks unity. Ben Foster selects the ideal replacement and foresees Amorim’s dismissal.

Ben Foster, a former goalie for Manchester United, has predicted that manager Ruben Amorim will soon be fired by his former team. Foster believes that Oliver Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, would be the best person to succeed Amorim at Old Trafford. The 42-year-old stated that Amorim has a few months left at Manchester United in an interview with his Fozcast PodcastThe Red Devils will split with the Portuguese as soon as he has another poor run of performances, he continued. “I think he [Amorim] has a couple months left, probably,” Foster stated. After he loses two, three, or four games in a row, they will say, “All right, we’ve had enough now, it’s obviously not working.” I simply observed them, and I don’t think they are cohesive. Glasner is someone who would benefit Manchester United. He has just nine months left on his Palace contract

Amorim has managed 48 games at Manchester United so far, winning 19 and losing 20.

Amorim’s side currently sits in the 11th position on the Premier League table after beating Chelsea last week
