KAA Gent, a team from the Belgian Pro League, have confirmed that their centre-back, Jordan Torunarigha, is leaving the club.
Torunarigha’s contract expires at the end of next month, and he has chosen to embark on a new chapter in his career.
The centre-back transferred to the Buffaloes in 2022 from Hertha Berlin, a club in the Bundesliga
The 27-year-old player made 145 appearances for Gent in all competitions.
In his first season at the club, Torunarigha won the Belgian Cup.
While playing for the former champions of the Belgian Pro League, he also attained international status with Nigeria.
There have been connections made between the player and a move back to Germany.
