Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), acknowledged in front of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday that he was the founder of both IPOB and Radio Biafra.
Kanu stated during the hearings that he started the online radio platform and the movement to advance the interests and well-being of the Igbo people.
“My Broadcasts Were Always Public” – Kanu Kanu denied allegations that IPOB is a covert group, asserting that all of his Radio Biafra broadcasts were aired live on Facebook.
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu admitted in front of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday that he founded both IPOB and Radio Biafra.
During the proceedings, Kanu claimed that he founded the movement and the online radio platform in order to promote the welfare and interests of the Igbo people.
“My Broadcasts Were Always Public” Kanu Kanu said that all of his Radio Biafra broadcasts were live on Facebook, refuting claims that IPOB is a clandestine organization. In the meantime, as part of the continuing trial, the presiding judge mandated that a video tape of Kanu’s interrogation session with the DSS be shown in public.
