Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes has ruled out any possibility of leaving the club this summer transfer window following their UEFA Europa League final defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Recall that Tottenham defeated Man United 1-0 in Bilbao to win the Europa League on Wednesday night.
Brennan Johnson scored the only goal of the encounter in the first half.
After the match, the Portugal midfielder told reporters that he is keen to remain at Manchester United.
The 30-year-old, however, didn’t exclude the possibility of departing from the Red Devils if the Premier League club ‘want to make some money’.
Fernandes stated, “I will remain here until the club informs me it’s time to go.”
“If the club believes it’s time to leave in order to make some money, then that’s how it is—football can be like that at times.”
In the meantime, Fernandes has garnered attention from Al-Hilal, a club in the Saudi Pro League, during this summer.
