By 2030, Heirs Energies, an independent oil and gas company in Nigeria, hopes to reach 110,000 barrels per day (BPD).
During African Energy Week (AEW): Invest in African Energies 2025, which will take place in Cape Town from September 29 to October, the company just announced that it will be a Bronze Partner.
The collaboration coincides with the company’s aggressive expansion goals, which include increasing its presence throughout Africa and doubling its oil production by 20303.
Since purchasing the asset from Shell in 2021, HeirsEnergies, the operator of OML 17 in Nigeria, has doubled production from 25,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 50,000 bpd, according to statements.
Within the next five years, the company hopes to increase output to 110,000 barrels per day with the help of more drilling, well reactivation, and infrastructure improvements.
