Company demands cut in fuel prices

Emirates Logistics, a prominent security company, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take action regarding the increasing prices of petrol and food nationwide, cautioning that this issue is impacting millions of Nigerian families.

During a speech in Abuja over the weekend, as Nigeria commemorated two years of Tinubu’s administration, Prince Dr. Benson Onuwaje, CEO of Emirates Logistics, called on the federal government to explore the creation of a national price control agency aimed at stabilizing essential goods.

Onuwaje stated, “The increasing prices of fuel and food are a significant worry for ordinary Nigerians. We call on the president to take prompt action and look into implementing a national price control system, and we also encourage state and local governments to invest in the production of staple foods.”
