David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a Nigerian Afrobeats musician who has said that people do not give him the respect he deserves despite his 15 years of steady work in the industry. According to Naija News, David mentioned this in a recent interview with Lagos-based content maker Egungun.The “Feel” crooner claimed that despite his dominance in the music business, he does not receive enough recognition for his contributions. “The crazy thing is that people don’t give me my flowers [credits] that I deserve,” he stated, referring to his 15 years of dominating the music industry. “Do you think that you have haters?” Egungun implied. “There are haters, but everywhere I go, they love me, so I’m like, where are the haters?” Davido retorted. Davido, meantime, has talked about his initial meeting with American R&B singer Chris Brown.
