Lamine Yamal, the winger for Barcelona, has aimed a jab at Jude Bellingham, the midfielder for Real Madrid, following his team’s 4-3 victory in the LaLiga El Clasico on Sunday.
Before the El Clasico, Barcelona had been eliminated from the Champions League by Inter Milan just a few days prior.
After Barcelona lost to Inter, several Real Madrid players, both current and former, including Bellingham and club legend Sergio Ramos, were seen ‘liking’ Alessandro Bastoni’s celebratory social media post.
But Yamal made sure he had the last laugh following Barcelona’s El Clasico win.
The Spain international took to Instagram to send a clear message to those who had reacted to Bastoni’s post, writing “like this one too” along with a winking emoji.
The photo Yamal used shows the 17-year-old imitating a celebrating Cristiano Ronaldo famously performed for the first time during his Real Madrid days back in 2012.
Recall that Ronaldo’s Real Madrid team were returning to Barcelona following a 5-0 defeat earlier in that season and the goal Ronaldo was celebrating proved the winner in a 2-1 victory for Los Blancos that day.
Meanwhile, Barcelona triumphed over Real Madrid thanks to goals from Yamal, Eric Garcia, and Raphinha, while Mbappe netted a hat-trick.
